Do you think I could play Kate Bush (singer in the above pictures) or Hole on ukulele? I know those are very different genres. Idk cause I really want to bc this town is so freaking boring.

Also we have like one or two thrift stores, one at my parents church and another that’s goodwill and those prices are insane. 

Yeah I think I could play some rock songs on uke (not saying Kate Bush is rock she is clearly not).

Okay so maybe I’ll post the videos on my yt. Wouldn’t that be funny.

Hey guys,

Feeling a bit down today. So im going to talk about little things.

My plant is fixing herself slowly but surely. I accidentally bent a few leaves, but they are repairing. Im so proud of my little Clarisse! 

Next, ive started on Christmas presents. Ive started making some ear warmers.

I got watercolors and yarn yesterday because I was out of watercolors and I needed yarn for Christmas presents. Ive been doing a lot of watercolors and its very fun.

I did my makeup really nice today. I did more of a cat eye, and i think it compliments me better.

Anyways, heres some relatable stuff.

Also been listening to Lana Del Rey through this labor day long weekend.

reminder to everyone including me

Hey yall,

This is a friendly reminder to everyone (including me) that you do NOT need to buy unnecessary stuff! Most times, you can diy or thrift stuff!

For example, yesterday I winded some yarn cakes by hand because I had been wanting a yarn winder. Now I realize that I dont need it!

 also I think im going to try spinning plarn. Ill make a drop spindle and see if I can make plastic bags into yarn!

And, bike! Biking is soooo gooood. I cant stress this enough. 

I have a football game today, so I will not be able to do as much crafting as I normally do, but this weekend I will do the bike diys previously mentioned on this blog. This weekend im also going to make a drop spindle and spin plastic bag yarn.

Im also making a six day star blanket. It looks really good! Im done with the foundational rows.

 and im writing a collection of short stories, hence the writing tips.

This post has to do with undertones of the do it yourself (some might say punk) movement.

Ahem.

I am an avid bike rider, and i do not like to contribute to the economy unless needed.  (Edit: I typed this and now I’m looking at that and realizing that this does not make sense as I do not buy groceries. I’m literally a teenager and it is not hard to not participate, plus I buy used books. I just boycott certain brands.)

I ride my bike all around to swim and to get books from little free libraries. Its great exercise and costs next to nothing. I also go to yard sales and such.

The reason this costs next to nothing is because my bike is secondhand. It is my grandma's old bike and is actually insanely fancy and I got it for free. Thanks Nana! 

Anyways, I live in an odd bit of the south where it is freezing for a month or three and boiling the rest of the year.

Thus, I need some bike accessories to stay warm. I am going to make helmet ear warmers and hand warmers for the hand rest places. I refuse to buy these things when I literally own yarn and crochet hooks, and a plethora of knitting needles from my other grandma, because she is an avid knitter and sometimes crocheter.

So blogger keeps deleting my stuff. Essentially, I got a new book from a little free library. It’s called Belittled Women, and it has a 3.21 on StoryGraph which isn’t great, but I need a cute romance for in between some other books I want to read. I want to read Wool (the silo series on Apple TV is based off of this), Dune, and Animal Farm. So I need a lighter book in between those.

Also, I’m almost done with my Japanese Knot Bag! The pattern is super easy. I’ll put it here:
